Patent information : Provides links to a wide range of patent information.

Search facilities : Link to search engines, including  AltaVista,  Northern Light,  Fast Search, Google,  Excite  and  Infoseek. 
Research Finder provides an on-line gateway to researchers, research capability and emerging technologies in Australia's research organisations. Research Finder searches 2.1 million web documents from 190 government funded research and research-support organisations including CRCs, universities, technology transfer organisations, government organisations, and R&D councils.
Scirus concentrates on web sites that contain scientific content, such as university web sites and author homepages, and materials from both free and access controlled sources. Scirus currently searches the Web, ScienceDirect, MEDLINE on BioMedNet, Beilstein on ChemWeb, Neuroscion, BioMed Central and Patents from the USPTO. Elsevier Science claims that Scirus covers more science sources than any other search engine.

ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) Digital Library  
Beginning in 1954, the ACM Digital Library provides full text access to every article published by the ACM, including over 50 years of archives. The CSIRO subscription also includes access to The Guide to Computing Literature.

Australian Geographic Place Names (Gazetteer)    : Searches the Gazetteer of Australia. The Gazetteer of Australia contains over 310 000 geographic names in Australia provided by members of the Committee for Geographic Names in Australasia.

Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary and Thesaurus

Oxford English Dictionary Online : The Oxford English Dictionary is the accepted authority on the English language. As well as being a conventional dictionary, the OED traces the history, use, and pronunciation of over half a million words, both present and past. Entries contain detailed etymological analysis and include quotations from a wide range of international English language sources. Oxford Reference Online Premium
Oxford Reference Online: The Collection contains about 100 dictionary, language reference, and subject reference works published by Oxford University Press.

Picture Australia  : The database provides a single access point to over 450,000 digitised images from the pictorial collections of the Australian War Memorial; the National Library of Australia; the State Libraries of New South Wales, Tasmania and Victoria; and other libraries, galleries, museums, and archives.
